GETTING KNOW THE PHONE ADAPTER:
HandyTone-486 Analog Telephone Adaptor is an all-in-one VoIP integrated device designed to
be a total solution for networks providing VoIP services.
The HandyTone-486 VoIP functionalities are available via a regular analog telephone.
The following photo illustrates the appearance of a HandyTone-486.
If we look at the plug panel of Grand Stream then it looks like as follows:
Phone : Connect your regular phone set to this port
WAN: This WAN port connects to your cable or DSL modem with blue Ethernet cable.
LAN: Connect your PC to this port.
DC 5V: This port is where you will connect the power adapter.
State LED : This is an LED (Light Emitting Diode) shows the different state of the GS
1) Steady red light shows when you only power on the GS without connecting it to the Internet.
2) Blinking red: When you connect the GS to the Internet the red color on the LED keeps blinking
unless it gets the 1pinless proxy and get registered.
3) Once the GS is registered to the 1pinless proxy blinking comes to an end.
4) Then when you pick up the hand piece to call the LED turns to green.
NOTE: The Factory Default feature of the Router's Webbased Utility is protected by a
password available only from 1pinless
